Gujarat is the leading industrialized State of India. It houses a number of multinational corporations, large private sector companies, strong public sector enterprises and a large number of medium and small scale units. While sharing 5% of Indian Population, Gujarat contributes 21% in Exports and 13% in India's Industrial Production.
SGCCI undertakes several activities to promote the information, development and services for the benefit of the trade and industry of the entire Southern Gujarat. SGCCI has planned to organize several exhibitions for the year 2012-2013. "Surat Auto Expo 2013" is the Complete Automotive Show organized by "The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry". It is the only MEGA AUTO SHOW of 2013. India's 2nd largest AUTO EXPO SHOW.
